Acrylic Varnish

Acrylic varnish

Eco-friendly, non-toxic and odorless, with low VOC. Good printing leveling, outstanding surface effect.

In the ink industry, varnish plays a crucial role as both a carrier for pigment concentrates and a key component in defining ink specifications tailored to specific applications. The selection of the appropriate varnish is determined by the substrate to be used, ensuring that the ink performs optimally on various surfaces. Varnishes serve as a foundation for creating water-based inks, offering versatility for different printing needs, whether for paper, textiles, or other materials. They are typically formulated using water based resin solutions and a range of additives, which contribute to the ink’s viscosity, drying properties, and overall performance. By adjusting the varnish formulation, manufacturers can customize the ink to meet specific requirements, such as gloss levels, durability, and color intensity, making varnishes a key factor in achieving high-quality printed results across diverse applications.
